I am Gijo Vijayan here, I am a Blogger, Author and entrepreneur from Kerala, India.

I write blogs about tourist places in Kerala. Travelling is my hobby. I left the corporate life to lead a free life.

On 4th December 2022, Sunday, me and my family visited the famous “Mankdavu Devi Temple” and on the same day I visited the home of a relative who was staying nearby.

It was a beautiful experience that I will forget in my life. All fo a sudden I landed up in a very beautiful place with a beautiful river, lots of greenery, no people around and a spice garden.

This place is not a tourist place, infact only very few people live here. My friend took me to the nearby river downhill from his home wading though a beautiful spice garden that consists of nutmeg, cardamom, coffee, Rubber and cocoa plantation. The sound of the flowing river adds to the beauty of the area.

The place is lush green, only few people live nearby, most of them are farmers.

I want to show this place to you, When you visit Munnar, you can explore this area, Mankadavu, near Adimali town, Idukki district, Kerala, India.

This place is ideal for move shooting and recreation activitis. The river looks beautiful, it is better to visit this place during the rainy season.

Here are some spice plants grown in and around this area.

Wherever I go, I take photos and videos of that area as much as possible. HERE are some photos of flowers I have taken. Have a look.

We spent few hours @ our friends home, had lunch. The bckyard was full of fruits like passion fruit, mangoes, coconuts etc.

The view from my friend’s home is really wonderful I want to show you the beauty of the place and the nearby river through my photos.
