Chapter 1: Koomer the puppy
Ganga, who was sleeping in the freezing cold, woke up to a familiar voice. Her brother, who was working abroad, had come. When the girl woke up, she saw everyone gathered around a basket. Ganga slowly looked at the basket. A Pomeranian puppy, like a big worm. His eyes were not open, he was just big enough to be held in someone’s hand. The puppy had a very beautiful face.
Ganga, who had no one to play with, found someone to play with. Then Ganga and her mother took over taking care of him. In Ganga’s house, which had no small children, he became a small child. She bought a nipple bottle and started giving him milk. He smelled the milk like a small child. He started walking slowly through the rooms.
Slowly he became a part of the home. He had very small teeth in his mouth. Ganga was very curious to see all that.
One day, when Ganga looked, his front teeth had fallen out. Ganga asked her mother, “What will the puppy do now that he has no teeth?” After two days, new teeth appeared in his mouth. Ganga felt at peace.
They thought of a name for the puppy and decided to name him Koomer. She started calling hir Koomu. Once upon a time, there was a dog named Koomer, a native breed, in Ganga’s house. Ganga was studying in school at that time. She would often ride on Koomer’s back. She had a very fat body at that time. Koomer did not say anything. Even if he could not bear it, he would bear the burden. Ganga would remember his love even after she grew up. At that time, Ganga’s reading world was children’s publications. There was a story in it. The story of the 3 little pigs. The wolves, Koomer and Reemer, came to destroy their house. Ganga and her friends laughed while telling that story. That was when she got a dog and named it Koomer. It was an innocent dog. That Koomer had a friend named Tiger. Koomer and Tiger were always seen together. Tiger was a big, proud dog. Tiger did not bark like that. Tiger would give a good bite to those he did not like. The old Koomer had a very moderate nature. He would not bite anyone. He would bark a lot when he saw unfamiliar people. He was a good master-loving intelligent dog. Koomer would quickly understand whatever Ganga said. He would obey it. She decided to name the Pomeranian puppy Koomer. The new generation of Koomer was named in memory of the old Koomer.
Koomer, who drank and smelled milk, became a beautiful white dog. Koomer’s appearance was such that anyone could pick him up and pet him. Koomer’s front teeth were uneven. However, there was a special beauty to see it. Everyone would watch Koomer running around with his beautiful white fur and uneven teeth. Everyone would feel very happy when they saw his games. Ganga started calling him Koomu as pet name. Everyone loved Koomer very much.
Chapter 2: Koomer and the calf
There was a calf in Ganga’s house. It was a stubborn calf. That calf was not afraid of anyone when it got angry, it would give anyone a good kick. When the calf was brought back after eating grass, Koomu would hold the calf’s rope. If you look at his face, you will think that he was the one who was bringing the calf back. Ganga would be curious to see a small puppy holding the calf’s rope. Every day, Koomu would make the family laugh with his presence.
One day, as usual, when Koomu brought the calf’s rope, the calf did not like it. It gave Koomu a strog kick. Koomu ran away crying.
There is a large rubber plantation near Ganga’s house. Cows come there to eat grass. One day, little Koomu was playing near a calf. When he first saw it, he was curious. The calf’s mother came and chased him away. Koomu ran away in fear. Ganga was watching this and laughed at his running.

1. For stray dogs
Ganga used to talk about general matters with Supriya, who was Ganga’s friend from college. Although they were not very good in studies, Supriya and Ganga used to talk about general matters very well. Supriya had the ability to find solutions to many problems.
One day Ganga said, “Everyone takes good care of pet dogs. But who will give food and water to stray dogs on the streets? Who will show them love and care?”
Supriya said, “At each place, some workers should be appointed to protect the dogs that are roaming on the streets and some space should be set aside for the street dogs. A good shelter should also be built there for the dogs. The workers should catch all the dogs that are roaming on the streets and bring them to this shelter and provide them with good, clean accommodation, good food and water, good care, the services of a doctor at the veterinary hospital, timely vaccinations, and a spacious playground for the dogs to play. Many problems caused by street dogs will be eliminated.”
Ganga said, “We should also make facilities available for people to come there and feed the dogs and treat them with love. This will help reduce mental stress for the elderly. This will also bring great joy to the children. The dogs will also be very happy due to the loving behavior of humans.”
Supriya said, “How loving dogs are. We often see their pain. How wonderful it would be if we could always see their happiness, play, and laughter. Just seeing their love fills our hearts.”
2. For birds and butterflies
Ganga and Supriya used to go to the hills nearby during holidays and chitchat. They would just sit there listening to the chirping of parrots. One such day, Ganga said, “Supriya, many birds are struggling in many places due to lack of food and water in the dry season. Tell me, what is the solution to this?”
Supriya said, “During the dry season, we should appoint some workers in each place and make facilities at high altitudes at intervals of two kilometers and put water, food and fruits. Every day, we should replace the water, food and fruits with new ones. If we do this, we can prevent the disappearance of many bird species.”
Ganga said, “Everyone is the owner of the earth. There are very few birds in the cities. It would be great if every house kept some food and water for the birds every day. There are some people who do this.”
Supriya said, “I have heard that those who feed birds and animals will never have any harm to their offspring.”
Ganga said, “If every house has a few flowering plants, depending on the space available, and takes care of them, we can prevent the disappearance of butterflies anywhere. “If there is a strict system to plant and take care of a few flowering plants in every house in the cities, the extinction of various butterflies and insects will be prevented and people will be happy by living in harmony with nature.”
Supriya said, “If the birds and animals are happy, Mother Earth will be happy. This earth belongs to them.”
