Dr. S. Jaishankar is one of the most competent cabinet ministers that India.
Dr. S. JaiShankar was born in New Delhi, India to prominent Indian strategic affairs analyst, commentator and civil servant K. Subrahmanyam and Devi Sulochana Subrahmanyam. He has two brothers; the historian Mr Sanjay Subrahmanyam and the IAS officer Mr S. Vijay Kumar. He is Alumni of The Air Force School, Delhi. He has an M.Phil. and PhD in International Relations from JNU, where he specialised in nuclear diplomacy. He married to a Japanese women, Mrs Kyoko Jaishankar, has two sons Dhruva, Arjun and a daughter Medha. He speaks Tamil, Hindi, English, Russian, Japanese, Chinese and some Hungarian.
After joining the Indian Foreign Service in 1977, Shri Jaishankar served as third secretary and second secretary in the Indian mission to the Soviet Union in Moscow from 1979 to 1981, where he studied Russian. And from 1985 to 1988 he was the first secretary at the Indian embassy in Washington, D.C.
So, he can easily understand what is happening. While deciding an issue a person has to hear both sides. Then, the principles of natural justice will prevail. If a person listen one side view and neglect opposite party, it will not come under natural justice but partisan view. There is a difference between the analysts those who can understand other countries language / culture and those who don’t.
To write anything for him will be very less. Few people like him have decided to make political career after completing their innings as a bureaucrat.
